Eliminate goldsellers - Ultimate solution

To put an end once and for all to the goldselling cancer, you could consider charging players a small fee for every account creation. Few things to consider:

1) The cost would only be imposed to new accounts, in order to avoid any impact on the current population;

2) It should be a once-in-a-lifetime fee, not a recurring payment or subscription model (obviously);

3) The cost should be low enough not to hinder the natural growth and renovation of the playerbase, yet high enough to discourage goldsellers from creating unlimited accounts to bot/farm/bypass permabans. As an indication, 5,00 $/€ per single account would do;

4) It would require a dedicated platform to streamline and automate the process, without encumbering admins or requiring new personnel to manually micro-manage the system.

This solution, imho, would solve many problems, dealing a might blow not only to goldsellers... multiboxers and spawn campers would also be heavily affected. And this without taking into consideration the clear financial benefits that would come, granting the projects the resources it needs to improve network infrastructure, hire new developers to fix bugs and script content, extend the hosting plan and anything else that doesn't come to my mind right now.

I'd rather play retail than being forced to pay for private server.
