Dotminister 0 Report post Posted April 4, 2017 Hey Elysium team I've made a small mistake :/ When I oppened my account I used my company e-mail address... I'ts been working like a charm, but now im in the situation where i found a new job, so I can only access e-mail the next month. I need to change my address to my personal e-mail address so I can turn on 2FA without locking myself out of my account :S
SaintPaul 1 Report post Posted April 4, 2017 Pretty sure they don't/won't do this. If they do, you'll need to raise a ticket in game. Posting here won't help.
Nemesisッ 3 Report post Posted April 4, 2017 Unfortunately, we can't allow a change to the email adress connected with your account.
SaintPaul 1 Report post Posted April 4, 2017 I stand corrected. Posting here will help!? (that's a first) Nice to see a proper reply! ツ
Hudson 16 Report post Posted April 4, 2017 You can turn on 2FA and forward the email containing your code to your new account (or even print it out).
Dotminister 0 Report post Posted April 6, 2017 Thanks for the replies. I still dont get why my e-mail cant be changes, especially when I'm still able to verify the address for the rest of the month. I've oppened a new account where i have started playing on a new char as an alt and then I hope my current account wont ever get hacked.. That would be balls :/
PeterGryphon 0 Report post Posted April 6, 2017 As suggested above enable 2FA now and forward the email onto another email address. This way the game account can never be hacked and if you ever need to recover it for any reason you still have the QR code from the original email when you enabled 2FA so your solid.
