Hjuret 0 Report post Posted April 5, 2017 Hi there, I seem to have lost the ability to whisper players, talk in global channels etc. Ive tried restarting, deleting wtf/wdb folders etc. Nothing seem to solve it. I can say stuff in party and guild chat. No problem there. Anyone had this problem and have a clue what to do?
Noiryx 0 Report post Posted April 5, 2017 (edited) Hi Hjuret! Funnily enough I had this exact same issue. I couldn't see guild chat, say, yell, whisper, anything. A lot of people were very angrily thinking I was ignoring them haha. Essentially in vanilla it's impossible to reset your chat settings, as such this may be a little more tricky, personally to resolve it I had to make my WTF folder into WTF.bak and delete my WDB folder, but I see you have already done that. This may sound simple, but have you checked you don't have the channel unchecked? Just right click the top button of chat (that says General) and look into these settings. Let me know how you get along, please. Edited April 5, 2017 by Noiryx

It usually lasts ~1h before resetting. Please let us know if you're still unable to chat.
TheRealMert 0 Report post Posted April 6, 2017 I am having the same problem. I was trying to put together a group for SM cath and whispered a few priests of the /who list to see if they would like to come, maybe like 8 or 9, and got auto banned. I understand the need to cut down on spammers but the cutoff seems a bit extreme. If we are not able to use the /who list to put together a group that makes finding groups much more difficult
