powerofdeath 0 Report post Posted April 12, 2017 So I just downloaded WoW on my desktop (I have it on my laptop and it work fine) I can't launch it. I try opening WoW.exe, using wow launcher and clicking play, etc. It's bugged. The little WoW icon shows up in my task bar, but nothing is opened. I can hear the music. How do I fix this? I tried deleting config in WTF folder, I tried to run everything as administrator. I tried reinstalling it. I tried restarting the desktop few times. Nothing seems to work for me. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
PeterGryphon 0 Report post Posted April 12, 2017 Do you have two monitors on your desktop? If so are you sure it's not displayed on a screen which is turned off, meaning it is open fine but you just can't see it. Sounds obvious I know but I've done this myself - boy did I feel silly :)

Did you do the full configuration (realmlist.wtf and config.wtf)? Try renaming the WTF folder to eliminiate any local config issues. If all else fails, try the script in the post at the top of the help forums. It'll config everything and run through checks to make sure your game files aren't corrupted.
