Obserd 0 Report post Posted April 13, 2017 Doing my best here to read previous threads and what not ... I just started last weekend. I initially picked Elysium realm so I could experience WoW in it's infancy. I started retail around the time BWL/ZG release. I could remember being like 45ish & running from Tanaris to Silithus so I could experience the gates opening for AQ.=) Anyway , by the time I was 60 my guild ran MC , Onyxia , ZG , AQ20. We were never at that BWL , AQ40 or Naxx stage mainly due to the fact that we had 10-15 solid players & the rest were trash. That got fixed in TBC =) That being said I'm really hoping to experience what I did in vanilla , but more importantly what I missed ... Does this community see 2 progressive realms ? I see population levels are dropping & of course a lot of that could be exaggerated .. I just I hope I didn't make a mistake by taking Elysium over Anathema ? 0 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Chiyo 1 Report post Posted April 13, 2017 Elysium is more populated, is not losing players at an alarming rate and will actually experienced a small influx of players soon due to merge, and it's the realm that is still quite some time away from AQ etc. So I would say this is your best bet. Arguably its "too far" removed from AQ and the likes but I dont believe in that. I believe, because the majority of Nostalrius and Kronos players are all here now - on whichever server - and we love the game so much it really should not die out any time soon. So you could say that it has actually lost players at an alarming rate. So you picked the right server. I just want a good experience. Naturally Anathema should progress faster since it's further down the timeline. I'm fine with that .. I'll just be sour if Elysium can't get past BWL stage b/c most of the serious players went Anathema ( and I probably won't be able to realm transfer ? ). If anything Anathema will progress slower than the rest since the AQ/Naxx content is not complete. At this rate the other servers will catch up to the Anathema timeline soon.
