My philosophy is the following.

For dungeons: +heal > spirit > mp/5, because you have a lot of time out of 5 sec rule with full regen and spirit ist cheaper and more common regarding item budget. I advice to use Regrowth and Rejuvenation to stay out of the 5 sec rule as long as possible.

For raids: +heal > mp/5 > spirit, because you will most likely spam Healing Touch rank 4 (or 5-6, depending on your +heal) and stay out of full spirit regen most of the time.

The talent "Inspiration" and T2 3-piece setbonus make spirit better, but you do not go for spirit, you just take the spirit on T1/T2 and other pieces and enjoy it, without stacking it.

+heal is the preferable stat in any situation. It allows you to downrank, which saves a lot of mana (you could translate the difference of rank 4 and rank 6 Healing Touch in a huge amount of mp/5!) and it increases your output at the same time, which is especially great for your HoTs and their utility in protecting the tank, when healers are disabled (fear, counterspell, etc.). +heal also shines, because bossfights last only 2-3 mins in most cases. 10 mp/5 translates into 360 mana in a 3 min boss fight, but +heal will increase your output and flexibility, which is far more important in the end.

Heal>int>spirit>mp5 currently. The only fight I really tend to go dry on currently is Nef and I mitigate that with 3pT2+DMC:blue dragon.

combine with NG/moonglow spec and I very rarely go oom

Stacking on int? What will you do once you run out of mana? If you stacked at least 100MP5, you'll get 1200 mana every 1 minute. This is much more efficient than stacking 120 int which only gives you 1200 mana overall. In a very long fights such as twins, MP5 is king since you will be able to heal for much more.

Only time you should be stacking int is when you need the critical but HoTs do not trigger a critical heal.

1 int = 15 mana, so 120 int would be 1800 mana. If you skilled Heart of the Wild, then it is even 2160 mana. 120 int is also around 1,5% spellcrit (not sure if the conversion is 80 int for 1% spellcrit for druids).

100mp/5 is A LOT mp/5. Int is a lot cheaper regarding stat value budget. It is even on many pieces with mp/5, like Ring of Demonic Guile.

Int is good in short fights and most MC & ZG bosses only live 1-2 mins. It is not shaby to have a lot of int on your starting gear, it is a viable choice.

Ragnaros and some BWL bosses offer you opportunities where mp/5 is stronger than Int. But there are also bosses like Vael where +heal outshines Int and mp/5 by a huge margin.

Most healers I know just stack +heal and take mp5/spirit/int as a bonus. +heal is just so much better than the rest, because it allows to downrank rank 4 Healing Touch, which you can spam (raidbuffed) almost forever even without noteable amounts of mp/5 or spirit.

But at the end of the day... if mp/5 works for you like a charm, go for it! Healing is about keeping people alive and many ways lead to that goal. :)

MP5 is extremely easy to get later with end-game gear, especially as a healer myself. I have the current set which is neat to have

  • Rejuvenating Gem; +66 Healing with 9MP5
  • Royal Seal of Eldre'Thalas; +44 Healing
  • Rosewine Circle; +29 Healing with 5MP5
  • Ring of Blackrock; +19 Healing with 9MP5
  • Stormrage Belt; +26 Healing with 4MP5
  • Stormrage Boots; +26 Healing
  • Stormrage Bracers; +33 Healing
  • Stormrage Cover; +29 Healing with 6MP5
  • Stormrage Handguards; +42 Healing
  • Stormrage Legguards; +48 Healing with 6MP5
  • Amulet of the Shifting Sands; +46 Healing with 6MP5
  • Wild Growth Spaulders; +62 Healing
  • Robes of the Exalted; +68 Healing
  • Shadow Wing Focus Staff; +56 Healing

Overall, my gear alone provides 594 Healing with 45MP5 without buffs, enchants, pots, food, or anything else. 45MP5 = 540 mana per min and most BWL/AQ40 fights tend to last at least 3 minutes so this means I already earned at least 1620 mana alone through MP5. Sometimes, we lose extra healers/dps then the fight drags on longer than expected then MP5 helps me throw out an extra 2-3 heals ever minute which could lead to saving a life. Often, I'd go bandaging several people to keep them topped before using my mana again... either way I'm still healing people :-)

Stacking purely on +Heals would mean I'll have to use my +Healing gear by swapping out both rings to the following

  • Fordring's Seal; +37 Healing
  • Cauterizing Band; +46 Healing

Overall, I only gained +35 Healing at a loss of 13MP5 which means I lost 468 mana for a 3 minute fight. That's two down ranked heals that I could have thrown out to top off two more people. At the moment, this is extremely subjective because I have around 770 heals after all pots/buffs/talents/enchants. I'm actually working on a spreadsheet to demonstrate the whole thing with different variables/conditions to see which situation plays out the best. My aim is to replace the Shadow Wing Focus Staff with Claw of Chromaggus and Lei of the Lifegiver for additional 7MP5 for long fights. I'm a raid healer so this works the best for me because I can keep a steady stream of heals going out instead of overhealing so much every time. There's a fine balance between overhealing while running out of mana and having plenty of mana at end of the fight with minimal overhealing. I'd rather to have extra mana at end of every fight which shows that I have enough mana in case a fight becomes longer than expected.
