Ravid 8 Report post Posted April 25, 2017 I remember it was possible to change a player's name back in vanilla
Roxy 8 Report post Posted April 25, 2017 Namechange was only possible by purchasing a server transfer in late vanilla. By creating a char on the target server with the same name as the char that you are gonna transfer. The paid namechange came in tbc (or maybe as late as wotlk dont remember exact) And since server transfer is not gonna happen with the exception of ZK closing down, you need to stick with your name or simply create a new char
Ravid 8 Report post Posted April 25, 2017 Yeah exactly, it was possible. So where do I go to transfer realms so I can change it.

Ravid 8 Report post Posted April 25, 2017 Yeah but that's not keeping in with the spirit of being blizzlike. I wouldn't mind paying some money to transfer realms and transfer back with a new name.
Aurigon 2 Report post Posted April 25, 2017 Transfers are only possible from Zeth'kur towards any of the other three realms ("transfers", which means account transfer with all toons unchanged, no namechange nor character splits between different accounts). Namechanges aren't a thing here, and hopefully they will never be. It would be heaven for ninja looters to get away with murder by just throwing a few bucks. Oh, and being blizzlike has nothing to do with this, by the way.
