For Thunderaan, the items are all trade items or drops that you previously had, so they shouldn't be destroyed. If you want to be extra safe, try deleting your WDB folder first, but I've abandoned and retaken many other quests without a problem. It's also worth noting that the Bindings of the Windseeker probably fall under the list of unique quest items that GMs will help you restore if something were to go wrong with this. 0 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Thunderaan is summoned once by turning in those materials. If you don't kill him in that time, there doesn't seem to be a way to summon him again.
