Saving Money as a Resto-Shaman (for what)?

Recommended Posts

Everything i talk about is primarly focused on Resto Shaman. Server Elysium PvP

Hey guys, I have been thinking about a reason to save up money for quite some time now on my shaman but i dont rlly find any item that would be really useful for a shaman beside the darkmoon trinket maybe - i feel like pretty much everything you can get that is BiS in Mc, Bwl and maybe even AQ patches (not that sure about AQ) comes from the raids themselves. I would kinda look forward to buy some expensive items at some point that really give my gear a boost like warriors have Lionheart and later the Legs etc.

Btw. im completely stacked on Raidconsumables including Flasks for the next 5 months (if i should decide to stop farming which i prolly wont)

Farming that is time consuming would be also something i wouldnt mind. For example if Alterac comes out ima try to push exalted as fast as i can for the offhand. But Wsg and Arathi aswell as R14 are pretty useless for a restoshaman. So if you guys have some feedback in that area i wouldnt mind also.

If you guys have any ideas on what i could spend money on to improve my healing in raids id appreciate it alot and i hope you could understand my englando.

I hear you about having a tough time as resto in bg's. I leveled up a resto sham and since Im not in a guild and most of my friends stop playing. It hasn't been fun. I saw a post a while ago about having 6 mages in a game and not a single one of them used sheep on anyone. I LOL and said that can't be true... except the same exact thing happen in one of my games. May me log off super piss and I haven't been back online since. Going to try my luck on Outlands alliance side.

Get a hide of the wild made if that is available to you yet. Corehound belt is another nice crafted item, not very expensive either provided your guild is cool and helps with the MC mats (although there may not be anyone revered with thorium brotherhood yet, dont play on elysium). Darkmoon card is spirit based so a druid or priest (with faster cast times as well) will get better results.

I think somebody who has stacked up on consumables (especially flasks) will have sorted out a 150g cloak. :D

I think he rather meant stuff like lionheart, edgemaster etc. for warriors. For warrior you can shell out like 4k gold if you want to have all of it:

Lionheart

Devilsaur until

Edgemasters

Cloudkeepers Legplate

Arcanite Reaper

and the list goes on

Where as shaman doenst quite have these brutally expensive items to acquire for shaman.

Hes specifically asking for things he can buy that will boost his gear and help his healing in raids. So his only options are Hide and Corehound belt. Darkmoon card no longer procs off chain heal and 8/8 jumps so its worthless to shaman now.
