Dust Stormer Nerf ? (Essence of Air)

Sooo.. Was farming this spot for a long time now on elysium in sillithus. normally im getting 10-20 an hour on my Mage. However

Today i loogged in and noticed 2 things

1) They wre hitting a lot harder / i was running out of mana before thy wre all dead - HP increase ?

2) I got  ** 2 ** Essence of Air in 1 Hour of farming ( Mind you i killl  10-20 mobs at a time.)

or the alternative..

3) The are bugged after any new fixes madee to the server

Can a gm please enlighten me on the subject - dont see anything in the patch notes.

Mage mechanics were fixed so that you get a free cast on 10% of attacks and not 10% proc per target hit.

I don't know anything about the drop rates so I'm no help there.
