Client Freezing every minutre or 2

So my WoW client will freeze up for about .5 - 1 second every 1 to 2 mins. I'm not sure what is causing this, nothing else that im running on my computer freezes up which makes me think it has something to do with the WoW client. Anyone else having this issue or know how to fix. any feedback is appreciated.

I have a similar issue, but probably only 80% of the time. Sometimes it runs smooth. I have satellite internet w/ a constant 600+ms ping, so I assumed it was because of that. If it's not due to my internet it would sure be nice to know a fix

well i run 150 ms. its definitely not my internet.

Your post triggered me... so I just looked and I see that other versions of wow have had issues with some 5400 RPM hard drives.... this could be my issue. I have a nice laptop with a SSD bit it's only 128GB and I had Elysium client on my HD (not sure of the speed).

The wiff and I are building new gaming desktops (today... once we get home today we are doing this! Woot!) I will have a bigger SSD and a 7200 RPM HD. I will put Elysium on SSD and see if the issue persists on the new computer. If it does then I'm pretty sure it's my satellite internet.

Do you play on mac? I have many micro freeze when i target, or loot stuff...

I have exactly the same problem like @Folcan.

Every 1-2 minutes I have  ~1second freezes. WoW is installed on an SSD, using Win10 x64. I hadn't this problem a half year ago.

Just started a new career on Elysium and since the first day this issue occurs.

As an aside, I play on a Mac with zero freezes, micro or longer. Addons can cause this. Moving thread to other issues.
