ZK Characters names

Hi all. Before transfer started I've checked if my character names are available at new realms and they weren't, so I came up with new names.
After transfer was finished and I've entered my new realm I found that there are no "Change name" buttons near my characters. I'm happy that I can continue using my old names, but here comes the question. Before the transfer these names were unavailable, so that means that there already are characters with such names. Now I'm afraid that Im not the only one who has name "xxx" (for example) and when someone will send me something to "xxx's" post or will try to add "xxx" to friends he will add another player with such name.
Hope you'll understand what I'm talking about and answer me something.

No worries. You're the only one with your name. It just happens that the other dude had to rename his toons instead of you.    Would guess this other person is not very happy right now.

Did you get past the character selection screen?

You are forced to change name after selecting your character.

True that. But then he wouldn't have his old name at the char select screen. More something like "xxx1".

Ive already loged in with all my characters, none of them needs to be renamed, so seems like TheDruidCode is absolutely right

Yeah, seems like you're not alone.

There's a few posts in the forum about characters from Zeth'kur getting priority over Elysium characters.
