Wlddog 0 Report post Posted July 6, 2017 I was in game accused of "Multiboxing". Not only did I have to go look that up to see what it is, I was also sent into a white cube room in game. A talking rat that seemed to be unable to see what I wrote was talking. I requested a mod or admin, but no response was given. I am only online to spend some time with my son. I played this game 15 years ago when it first was released and now my son is finally old enough to play along side me. If I am going to be attacked for this I want to know now. If I was some sort of hacker/cheater because he and I are always doing the same quests, I want to know now so we can spend our time doing something else.
Shiamorah 20 Report post Posted July 6, 2017 Well, if you looked up multiboxing, you were brought to GM island because it looked like you were multiboxing. I'm sure they gave you a little test, and the outcome would depend if you were indeed multiboxing or not. What was the outcome of this incident?
Wlddog 0 Report post Posted July 6, 2017 I home stoned out thinking it was some sort of weird trick. I was brought back into the box and yet no one would answer me inside the box. So I simply logged out. My friend said he followed some sort of instructions and was released. I thought nothing much more of it, until someone contacted my internet provider and had my internet shut off. So I spent about an hour with them this morning to get it settled and they said it came from World of Warcraft. Since this is about as close to World of Warcraft as I get anymore it had to come from this group. Now, my question is why. Why would someone go to my internet provider and do that? Now, as I said before. I will be playing 2 accounts from my house. It will be me and my son playing. If someone randomly wants to join us and play along, at a rather slow pace so the idea of rushing someone is hilarious, why would the admin of this server care? If I was some sort of multi level hacking cheater, I think I would be much further along than a lvl 12.
Hudson 16 Report post Posted July 6, 2017 1. We don't contact anyone's ISP for any reason, so it's likely you had issues because of something else (perhaps a report for a torrent download). 2. You're welcome to play two accounts from the same house, as long as they are being played by two separate people. There's a number of ways we can confirm this.
Wlddog 0 Report post Posted July 6, 2017 I only downloaded Torrent so i could play this game.... off of your forum link... and the quest help off of your forum link... I have since then deleted torrent because I have no idea how it works and I am too damn old to figure it out. Someone contacted my internet provider and the name was World of Warcraft. The only thing I could figure out, and since it happened hours apart, was that white room someone stuck me, my son, and our new friend in. I know Blizzard is a multi billion dollar company and I know this server is not something they are happy about. If anything, perhaps this is a warning to us all that they are looking our way and trying to find ways to give us problems.

A game master was likely using the rat in the white room to speak (they can do that), so you were speaking to a staff member.
Wlddog 0 Report post Posted July 7, 2017 Well when someone asks for someone of authority, shouldn't the person of authority say something? Because when they don't it seems like just some sort of prank from a hacker.
woahwut 3 Report post Posted July 11, 2017 Normally they teleport both players to the white room and make them run circles, sounds like the GMs are getting lazy.
