Ember_shade 1 Report post Posted July 8, 2017 I read this post and see that it is now in the TOU that it "disallows any large-scale, organized collaboration between opposite factions on all of our servers" I understand what it means and agree with it in most cases like the ones listed for using cross collaboration to hold a world boss or something. I am a role player and have a RP guild on Darrowshire alliance side. Would cross-faction RP fall under that category so long as no groups involved (horde or alliance) attempt to hold, or are actively holding a monopoly on world boss spawns or any other PVE content? Surprisingly I've had a lot of interest with cross-faction RP or if I will allow Horde to join in events I run alliance side. So just want to check to make sure that doesn't count as Cross Faction Collaboration .
Shiamorah 20 Report post Posted July 8, 2017 I would definitely say when it comes to RP, this rule change shouldn't affect you guys. You are playing on a different, but legitimate level than everyone else. Cross faction RP doesn't give anyone an upper hand or advantage
Oakenlix 79 Report post Posted July 8, 2017 I believe the cross faction collaboration rule isn't there to force you to kill any player of opposing faction on sight. It's to prevent you from griefing your own faction players in favor of the opposite faction. So as long as thats not the case, you should be just fine.
