Habskilla 2 Report post Posted July 27, 2017 So I've decided to create an alliance toon for fun (and faster BG queues) however I'm noticing the AH is kind of...messed up. Right now people are selling Copper Bars for 4s24cc and I just bought a stack of Copper Bar (20 of them) for 50s. Also noticed the enchanting materials are extremely cheap as well. Is there any explanation as to why the prices are so low? There is also WAY less stuff (well, copper ore/bar and enchanting stuff) when you compared it to Horde.
Stayhi 0 Report post Posted July 27, 2017 That's considered the money maker for low level mats. Peacebloom sells for like 5 silver for a stack of 20. Same for light leather maybe a little bit more. Medium leather is less than 20 silver im pretty sure. Surprisingly Silversleaf was going for something like 50 silver for a stack of 20, but I dont believe that "profit" will last. It's only very very certain mats that have any sort of meaningful value. I heard silver sells for a decent amount, and id assume gold along with that. Swiftthistle sells I think for like 25s for one. Money making on the AH is pretty limited until you can effectively farm whats in demand.

Undertanker 88 Report post Posted August 1, 2017 Also more PVP oriented people tend to join horde, which to be a serious contender requires engineering. So more people by population % would be prone to level that profession. Copper is a big part of the of leveling process for said profession.
