Quick question about Warr crit talents

Not sure if it's a bug or some secret mechanic, but I have less than a 10% base crit chance with two 5% crit sources as warrior

My polearm skill is level 1, but I should have at least 10% flat right? 10.42%?

Pretty sure it just has to do with your weapon skill. I would just try leveling the skill and seeing if the crit chance goes up.

Thanks for the response. since making the post, I leveled it most of the way and the crit chance has indeed gone up,

 

but I was wondering why it wasn't sat at least 10% when  I have two +5% base crit chance skills, makes me wonder if i'm missing some crit overall

Cant remember which patch probaly aq or later but the base crit on ely is 3% as it was changed in a later patch to 5% basecrit. 3+5=8 xd

All mecĥanics are (or should be) as in patch 1.12.

On topic, its probably just because low weapon skill reduced your crit chance, even the one you get from talents.

Minus 300 weapon skill = minus 12% crit chance, also -12% hit and +12% dodge and parry for your attacks to level 60.
