I often get this ...  I'll see nothing is actually happening in the game - nothing scrolling in world chat - I'm just there , so I go ahead & close the game out.  I try to log back in & I get to the CONNECTED part & it just hangs there forever.  I can access Darrowshire , but not Elysium.  I go over & see the realm status is up ?   so , what's going on here ?

elysium is not up, realm status is usually wrong or take a long time to show actual status

I was wondering if it was something with me since the realm status said it was " up " ....  lol

Got this problem sometimes too. Actually right now. But I can log in into Darro, normaly.

Maybe just a problem of elyium.

best way to find out server status is go on their discord, if ppl talk of genitals its 100% proof server is not up

An interesting observation. The login server sometimes does not realise that a realm is down.

More correctly, the logon server does not talk or connect to the realm servers at all, the logon server relies on flags in the database to determine whether a realm is up or not (the realm server itself updates these flags when it starts and stops). The logon server simply directs the game client to the realm server after authentication is complete.
