Is 100 ms good enough?

I enjoy pvp and on retail have been spoiled by having 15-20 ms all the time, just wondering if I might have issues with 100-150 ms or is that above average for a private server? Sorry if this seems like a silly question and thanks for any info.

If you're from EU 100 ms is rather high. But if you're from NA 100+ ms should be expected, mostly troublesome for melee classes.

Yes, I'm in eastern US and i sit between 150-180ms and honestly i can't tell much of a difference at all and i have one of every class. Usually the only time i can tell any lagg whatsoever is if the server in general is lagging and then so is everyone else.

I'm in California and get about the same as IzZa... and that's with streaming music in the background instead of the in-game tunes.

From my experience, anything under 200ms is perfectly fine, and I play a rogue so lag for me is crucial. In fact I get 20ms average that should be almost like I'm sitting over the server but the real problem is server load, not speed connection or ping, sadly... :'(
