Gnockz 0 Report post Posted August 23, 2017 So, straight forward: I had an old Account matched to my only email-address. But it was also combined with 2fA authenticator. I Paused and got a new phone in this time. I dont have the keys anymore or anything to log in, but i didn't mind that much and just started an new account. But for the new Account i couldn't take my old email-address (already taken etc.)... so i just took a very odd one so i can play at all. Problem is: This email got closed by provider side- seams password and so on were too easy and it got hacked. Long story short: I need a new email matched to my account... and i don't even know if i'm in the right place to ask. Ps.: Excuse my bad english
Belter 0 Report post Posted August 23, 2017 You're out of luck my friend. Once you've registered your account to an email, it cannot be changed.
Gnockz 0 Report post Posted August 23, 2017 I guess i have to deal with another thing now. I know they're putting alot of work on the server and so on but... since i've encountered two bad cases (in which i think the could've been handled already or are at least desirable) i wish they'll put a bit more focus on those things. But thanks for your answer EDIT: I am not even able to change my password since it requires my email... Could a GM solve that? Or shall i go with authenticator again?
Spionida 10 Report post Posted August 23, 2017 .account password Youroldpassword Yournewpassword Yournewpassword works for me. 2FA is sensible. If you see the pain of a hacked account when it is recovered... Authy or similar help the phone loss/wipe etc.
