itsXaDie 0 Report post Posted August 24, 2017 I am thinking of leveling an undead priest as a healer and when I get to 60 can I just jump into bgs or should I get some gear first? I know without gear I'll be roflstomped but does it matter? Would like to grind ranks.
itsXaDie 0 Report post Posted August 24, 2017 Sorry if it seems like a dumb question and probably asked before but thanks for any info.
TheDruidCode 28 Report post Posted August 24, 2017 You can jump straight into bgs. Be some warriors pocket healer and try staying out of danger. You will probably die a lot. It will be fun. You can start grinding ranks and gear in AV in your 50s. Preferably do some dungeons for some fast gear.
Myllz 8 Report post Posted August 24, 2017 No reason you can't do both, really. Start working on pre-raid BiS items starting in your low 50's. If you do lots of dungeons from 50-60 you'll have a decent amount of blue gear once you hit 60, then you can start popping BG's right off the bat. You're going to get targeted and blown up quickly since you're a healer, but there's no reason you can't start queuing right at 60. As a healer you'll be doing more good for your team as a fresh 60 than say a fresh 60 warrior or something.
itsXaDie 0 Report post Posted August 25, 2017 Thanks for the input, am hoping when I can get the gear to go SPriest eventually. They seem like a lot of fun.
Tronco 0 Report post Posted August 29, 2017 They seem but dont. Just put 3 dots and spam mind flay. Staying healer is more helpful and fun on the long run.
