Broshen 1 Report post Posted September 12, 2017 Currently there is very little incentive for new Horde players on Darrowshire. The lack of dungeon groups forming during peak hours is worsening and outside of guild raid groups there is very little end-game content to experience for Horde players on the PVE realm. As of today, the faction balance stands at 70-30 in favor of the Alliance. Opening transfers from Alliance to Horde would breathe a breath of fresh air into the Horde side of Darrowshire. To minimize the strain on resources, make use of a transfer window. Previous discussion regarding player concerns here.
Guest Report post Posted September 12, 2017 Cross-faction transfers are way less "acceptable" than off-server transfers for Horde-only from other servers. You'll have better luck going that route instead of something far more custom.
Broshen 1 Report post Posted September 12, 2017 I'd say that arguing for something more "acceptable" and less "custom" kinda died when the recent pvp changes were introduced. It's clear that the Elysium team are willing to implement "custom" changes, as they did with premade bg groups. This custom change would resurrect a dying server.
Guest Report post Posted September 12, 2017 Those are two different levels of change, requiring far different levels of work and is disingenuous to equate the two.
Roxanne Flowers 15 Report post Posted September 12, 2017 Side switching (blue to red like you're advocating for) simply IS NOT DONE. It's an apples to oranges kind of thing. Square peg, round hole ... and all that. The way to increase Horde population on Darrowshire is not to "pirate" characters from the Alliance and "switch" them over to the Horde. The way to do that is to roll new Horde characters on Darrowshire. When I eventually get my current crop of 8 Alliance characters to Level 60, that's what I fully intend to do. I'll just create a second account and roll up 8 Horde characters and play the other side of the game on Darrowshire. Some people think that the endgame is to go raiding ... while others think the "endgame" is to role alts and experience The Rest Of The Game.
Keala 28 Report post Posted September 12, 2017 Without any kind of help from the staff, there's no way to increase population on Darrowshire horde side. To be fair, it's the same for alliance side and even on Anathema. New players simply are not attracted by low populated realms (almost everyone, there are always exceptions). Saying that people need to roll horde side in order to increase the population on horde side doesn't bring anything to the table. Nothing will hapen by itself that will fix these issues.
dequecojonesvais 2 Report post Posted September 13, 2017 The problem will be more bigger in time, i know ppl leaving horde side and reroll in alliance in Darrowshire, i will see transfers to horde to ally good idea.
