Fall damage to death which doesnt seems to be legit

I dropped from the location in the screenshot (36.0, 52.6 at Stonetalon Mountains) just a few meters i thought) and it caused instant death, which shouldnt cause me any damage with my past experience, can it be verified to confirm whether my death from falling such a short distance is legit? Thank you.

If you think that there is a bug, report it. There are people who check this out.

Its a bug.

If you get falldamage animation but not actual falldamage this stacks until you actually receive the damage.

So taking the falldamage animation multiple times, without taking damage, resolves in you having this stacked damage at once if you get actual falldamage.
