Blue PvP gear update

I'd just like to know if the blue PvP gear I've already acquired will be updated, or if I will have to farm the ranks again once the update comes? or can I just buy it even though I don't have the rank anymore? Thanks in advance.

For the blue gear you will need to re-rank. For epic warlord set you won't.

I thought you could buy level 60 version blue gear once its out and you had the required lifetime rank, with the exception of r14 weapons.

I'm not making it up... the "updated" rare pvp gear are new items with new item IDs, so you will need to re-rank to R10 to get them (lifetime rank does not count). The updated epic pvp gear is an actual update of the existing epic pvp gears stats, so no re-ranking is necessary.
