gismo 0 Report post Posted September 25, 2017 I dunno but the way spellcaster mobs weave in autos in between their casts feels wrong. Their spell goes off, you'll get hit by it + a simultaneous melee hit. BTW, players are also able to do this, you'll hit with an auto the same time the spell impacts if it's in melee range and right-clicked. As I remember it (from either vanilla or retail, quit after MoP...) successful spellcasts should reset the swing timer. Any input ?
Oakenlix 79 Report post Posted September 25, 2017 I'm pretty sure you have to wait for attack timer after you cast a non-instant spell, checked it yesterday.

Roxy 8 Report post Posted September 27, 2017 While it is supposed to work like that, its not how it works on the server Priest mages and warlocks all are able to get in a autoattack inbetween every cast if you are standing in melee range with the mob right clicked. Unless they have fixed it very recently.
