Troll Racial Impacting Range Weapon PRE-RAID BIS

As many of you know the troll racial gives +5 with bows with means that the hit cap is reduce from 9% to 6%, in other words if you are a lvl 60 hunter with this racial, every single bow has a "hidden" [Equip:  Improves your chance to hit by 3%.] and that combined with Surefooted (3/3) and Biznicks 247x128 Accurascope allow a fresh lvl 60 to get hit cap fairly easily.

So the question is, if there are bows that can compete with Bloodseeker/Blackcrow taking in consideration the extra hit chance, and i think the answer is yes:

So there you have it, probably the DPS will be a little lower compare to the crossbow counterparts but that can be cover choosing less hit cap related items on the rest of the gear like:

• Mark of Fordring instead of Pendant of Celerity
• Spaulders of the Unseen instead of Truestrike Shoulders
• Mongoose Boots instead of Windreaver Greaves

Given that most good hunter gear gives +hit anyway, this racial bonus isn't that signifcant.

I think you better ignore it and go for a crossbow.
