Constanly getting Screen Freeze or even PC Crash (Bluescreen). Tried lots of things but no improvement, any advice appreciated :(

Recommended Posts

For a few days now I constantly (around every 30min) get screen freezes for like 15seconds and sometimes my PC even crashes and I get a Bluescreen of Death.

I updated all my drivers with various programms, did Windows Update, checked for malware, tried different methods I had googled, even lowered the graphic settings ingame but nothing has helped me so far.

As I said this started occuring a few days ago, didnt have any problems before that with Elysium or any other Vanilla server or other games.

The bluecreen told me its a graphics card issue but I'm seriously loston what to do :(

If you have a separate graphics card, try taking it out and just using the onboard one. It's possible it could be dying.

Sounds like your video card is overheating.  Take it out and blow out the dust / hair / cockroaches with canned air.  Don't spin up the fan too much with the air.

Other than that, could be a faulty video card.

If your monitors plug into the motherboard, blow out the CPU heatsink and check the fans.

Maybe you spilled your beer inside your PC, best not to sit your beer on your computer =P

Test the memory as well.  gooogle how to do this.
