We're closer than ever to a closed beta TBC realm — and we're excited to announce upcoming beta-tester applications! We have this wonderful video to share while the rest of the team focuses on launching Nighthaven PvP and merging current realms into Stratholme PvP! After that, we'll have more information on TBC Closed & Open Beta releases. Thanks again for your loyalty — we are incredibly honored. Going forward, we will be implementing a small vanity shop with strictly cosmetic, non-P2W features. The shop will not be implemented on the first month, but we wanted to make you aware of the change now. The shop's full stock will be made public before it is launched — we do not want to hide anything from you. We will no longer be accepting donations via PayPal once the shop is launched. The donation money received through the shop will be used to cover the costs of the server. Once those costs are met, surplus will be saved for the the upcoming months server costs, as well as other purposes; such as outsourcing server related work, staff needs, or any form of support that our team may need. An additional note from Shenna on this topic: Quote I know that with the recent developments, many of you will say this is too little too late. To those people, I can only ask forgiveness. The truth is that I was afraid. I needed the money, and I was afraid of the community's reaction if we would have added a vanity shop. Many of the staff had also threatened to quit the project on bad terms if we introduced a vanity shop as well. I made a choice based on desperation and fear, and it was the wrong one. Even if there is nothing else to gain from my mistakes than the knowledge of how to act in the future, I hope making the vanity shop public is at least a step in the right direction.
