the restoration tool still doesnt work for me, always tells me wrong password or authentification denied or some stuff like that. 

 

which account details have to be put into the tool? elysium accounts or lights hope accounts?

So, in the initial guide on the homepage it says to turn off 2FA and Geolock on Light's Hope, do we turn it back on once our characters have been restored?

Can you all PLEASE post some more information on how the restoration tool pulls the info from Light's Hope? Am I the only one who seems to care?

People are saying the data is not encrypted, meaning your account name and password are transmitted in plain text for a bot to pick up data. Which means it can easily be compromised by 3rd party.

I changed my LH password. Restored. And then changed it again. That password is also different from my Elysium password. 

I'm sure many are too dumb to realize the "dangers" (I mean, getting your account hacked doesn't really matter tbh. It's not like there is any payment info or personal info to grab other than what I hope is a dummy e-mail you set up), and I'm sure there will be many hacked accounts on Lights Hope in the near future :) But hey, screw them anyway.

That's good of you to do, however there are hundreds of people who will restore their characters and their account information may potential be compromised because the bot they use transmits data in plain text (allegedly), yet the people doing the restorations will have zero clue because there is no communication going on here.

I would appreciate it if the Elysium staff would confirm or deny this and provide specifics on what this restoration tool does exactly. Otherwise, I have no intention of using it. And maybe they are fine with that I guess, but whatever.
