Toons disappeared after the merge

I lost my characters, including my 60s Hardknocks and Playnice that were on Anathema.  How do I get them back?

I'm having the same problem, when I try to run the restore characters option it says my account/password is invalid but I'm able to logon to the game server and create a fresh character on the Nighthaven realm

fwiw - When I was viewing the realm list it showed that I had 5 characters on Nighthaven but none showed on the list when selecting Nighthaven

Nighthaven is a fresh only realm, transfers aren't allowed to it.

If you want to play your old characters, you'll have to go to Light's Hope (use google).

Your characters are safely stored for future use. You can not use them on our new Nighthaven server at the moment. Your characters can be used on our future TBC realm and Stratholm realm (if we decide to re-release it sometime in 2018). I apologize for any inconvenience and hope you'll play with us on Nighthaven! :)
