Consequences of Ninja Looting RARE BOP items that Class cannot possibly benefit from

Recommended Posts

I would like to suggest that need rolling on loot you cannot possibly benefit from, from one of the AV summonable bosses should be a bannable offense. It is akin to griefing and should be treated as such. 2nd time a rogue has need rolled on the spell damage and intellect ring and won it. This kind of behavior should never be tolerated.

it is part of the game. Shitty people will always exist and having a roll restraint implemented is not vanilla wow. It is in retail only just recently and it is not the duty of the admins here to police bad behavior. Criminal yes, shitty no.

They police bad behavior in many other instances. This is not a unique occurrence.  the same way cheating and buying gold are a bannable offence, so is greifing and spamming. You can get banned for greifing priests while they are trying to complete their benediction quest. That was not a vanilla retail feature either.

I think we are clear in our definitions stated in our terms of use;

https://forum.elysium-project.org/topic/21966-terms-of-use-rules-regulations/

Also the updated terms of use in regards to griefing found here;

https://forum.elysium-project.org/topic/62980-change-to-terms-of-use-—-griefing/

Specifically to what you said I can see how those items are easily compared as one person is frustrating the experience for other members of the community but at the same time comparing cheating, gold selling and spamming to a person rolling need on an item when another person could make better use of the item is a different situation.
