"DISCONNECTED FROM SERVER"

Hi, I recently downloaded WoW and signed up with Elysium, I have done everything on the beginners guide, and also there are no mistakes on the realmlist.wtf and i'm really confused to why it keeps saying 'disconnected from server' once I type in my username and password. (and also yes, I am using my game login not my forum account)

I have the same problem. I enter my name, pwd and It shows "Disconnected from server" instantly.

Frustrating isn't it mate, I'm not savvy with this sort of thing at all, I usually never use my PC for anything other than work related things so i'm trying not to take it to heart as much and keep looking for people with the same problem

Are you using a VPN? Can you try a VPN? This sounds like it is a connection issue of some kind.

I tried Proton VPN and Freevpn.me and I have still that problem.

Hey, I also faced the same Problem! I made every step at the beginner Guide, downloaded and installed the game. And set exact realmlist. Is the Game login account the same one as the website login account? (i do not mean forum acc)

Instant pop up "disconnected"! I Tried to reinstall in other folder, deactivate firewall and close programmes, ect.

I had a issue wich could fix this.  

Make sure the "S" in set realmlist is not capital! 

Close wow -> check realmlist -> make it read only

Hey what do you mean with "make it read only"?  i have this at my realmlist "set realmlist logon.elysium-project.org"  is this correct? 

It still doesnt work for me.

That realmlist is correct assuming no quotes.

You took care to not install WoW to Program Files, right? You installed it to another drive or to your desktop or something? You installed a WoW client with version 1.12.1? Not just 1.12?

 

Once you save the realmlist file you can close it. Then right click the file, goto properties and check the box marked "read only"

Hey Zancon,

I fixed the issue by downloading the 2nd file (elysium download client) and as i did with every version i unpacked it in another drive than my program Files! I also had to set a mark! (Right click realmlist data)

I Tried to set "set realmlist..." and make it "read only" but still doesn't work. I downloaded game from guide here.
