Salt Flat Venom(Thousand Needles/Shimmering Flats)

I think this quest is bugged. I've been farming scorpions for awhile and I've gotten 5/6 but the 6th will not drop. 

Is there anything that can be done or just give up on the quest?

No it's not a bug, the quest just has an absurdly low drop rate, like 5-10%.

But that's how it was in Vanilla.

Agreed, it took me over 100 kills to get all 6 if I remember correctly. It's quite the grind.
