No. Your entire account will be copied over.

Hei, call me stupid but how do transfer characters from nighthaven? tried just creating a similar race and name and got my lvl 60 but no gear or class quests done, is this right or?

TBC isn't live yet - you are on the beta server that is instant 60. There's no copies just yet.

In this case Nighthaven will be quickly empty. What about those continuing raids in Nighthaven. Gold and mats are essential.

You will not lose anything. Originally it was going to be singular copies and the removal was to prevent people and guilds from moving materials and gold around then copying that character, move again, copy that character and so on. Just dumping the entire DB gets us away from that risk.
