No Addons Working.

I started playing WoW at launch, I multibox 5 accounts on the blizzards official classic version with about 40 addons.

I'm playing the private server with a friend who doesnt want to pay for a sub on official.

Is there a reason none of the vanilla addons that work fine on official classic servers dont work on the Nighthaven PVP server?

I haven't managed to get a single one working, is it a different version?

They are two completely different versions of the game. This is Vanilla, you need 1.12.1 addons to play here.

Classic is more like retail Battle For Azeroth and the addons are not compatible. There's almost nothing "under the hood" that is the same between the two versions.

sorry, i meant i play the blizzard official classic. not the retail version. i just didnt know how to word it.

 

its weird, i use vanilla addons for classic so i assumed the vanilla addons would work in vanilla.

Blizzard official servers are classic.

Private servers are vanilla.

You don't use vanilla addons in classic, I guarantee it. They are completely different code bases. That's why they don't work here.

Also, multiboxing is not allowed on Elysium, so have than in mind.

yeah i read the faq, i thinks hes looking for one to switch to so we can be more efficient, the gold gain is hilariously slow playing one character. i multibox on official on my second pc, i was just playing solo here with a friend. I got questie working here so theres at least that. I see what you were saying now about the addons being geared towards classic, some were just mislabeled as vanilla addons in curseforge/willitclassic
