Thing is, buying gold is not just some "oh he made a stupid decision and learned his lesson", he literally made one of the worst "decisions" you can make, when it comes to private servers. Gold spam and chinese botters/gold farmers are one of, if not the biggest problem private servers are plagued by, next to bad scripting and bugs/glitches. By buying gold, you are supporting these chinese farmers, which will continue to plague the server, taking resources from legitimate players, and spam us all whispers and mail. Not to mention the ones that actively try to hack peoples' accounts, destroying their hard-earned progress. By buying gold, you are supporting hackers, cheaters, and spammers that are actively trying to fuck over the playerbase just to turn a profit. That's why people are not so quick to forgive him.

Ganking is more than just killing lowbies, m8. In my experiences on Kronos and old Nost, 99% of my "world pvp" interactions were either: -being attacked while fighting a quest mob OR -being attacked by a group of enemies OR -being attacked by someone 7-10 levels higher than me Very, VERY rarely is world pvp actually a fair fight. 99% of the time, it's one player unfairly taking advantage of another. Getting ganked is not fun or challenging or "hardcore". I play WoW to have fun, not to be constantly stressed the fuck out, spinning my camera around all the time and watching for enemy players. I don't feel like being treated to a 5 minute corpse run because a 60 riding by decided to stop and 2-shot me. I'm not amused when enemy faction forms gank groups that just run around the zone and ruin everyone's day. You can have your gank server, nobody is stopping you, go ahead and have fun getting ganked all day and night. Just, don't try and condemn other people and cry "CAREBEAR CAREBEAR" because they don't want to join you in having your time wasted corpse running over and over.

You know there's 4 or 5 different areas that the mobs spawn in, right? The drop rate is already pretty high. If there's nothing alive at your current location, move somewhere else.

I haven't gotten a single gold spam in like 4 days now. Plenty of mails, but no whispers. I did get whispers about a powerleveling service however, and even though I filtered words from it with SpamThrottle, somehow it came through two more times.

Even the lowest populated server, the PvE one, still regularly hits 6k players every day, so population isn't an issue.

Nobody uses the LFG channel because we have World.

Make sure you are tracking the quest with your quest log. Often times, Questie will not show the icons on the map unless the quest is being tracked.

What? "all" grindable spots have been "nerfed" ? how?

Is there any addon that notifies you when your weapon buff expires? All the fucking time, I keep forgetting to re-apply Windfury because of the obnoxious 5 minute duration. Already tired Power Auras; can't seem to get it to work with shaman weapon buffs.

I'm not sure. My regular melee hits are around 160-180, but Windfury hits are showing up as 240-260 in the combat log. First hit is the regular melee, second are the two WF hits.

Renaming the servers would not cause you to randomly lose exactly 1000 gold. Proof or gtfo.

Go into /wow folder / WTF / account / (your account name) / SavedVariables delete "CallOfElements.lua" and "CallOfElements.lua.bak" Now go into / wow folder / WTF / account / (your account name) / (server name you play on) / (character name) / SavedVariables delete "CallOfElements.lua" and "CallOfElements.lua.bak" That should fix it. I too was having problems with this addon earlier (but not after server rename) and deleting those files in the WTF folder fixed it.

No, there is no system blocking 2 connections from one IP.

Not being able to see mob health in vanilla is blizzlike. You needed addons like MobHealth / MobInfo to be able to "see" it.
