    LOL

    >Hellground Heard that server is buggy as shit. Even more broken than stock Mangos, with things like mobs hitting for 25% of your health, broken pathing, escort quests not working at all, etc. Enjoy your bugfest, gold buyer. :)

    Herb Node Map

Hm...I'm not entirely sure. I think that it uses another number as the zone ID, and then lists all the herbs beneath that number. For example, there's this: Which seems to correspond to the two Firebloom nodes that I have found in Searing Gorge: So yeah, it looks like it just uses more nested brackets, in the form of: Zone1 { Herb1 {1, } {2 } Herb2 {1, } {2 } } Zone2 { } etc

    Herb Node Map

This is the format Gatherer uses for herb nodes: [1] = { ["gtype"] = 1, ["x"] = 68.63, ["count"] = 1, ["icon"] = 24, ["y"] = 23.41, }, "gtype", no idea what it does, but it seems to be the same for every herb. "count" also doesn't really matter, IIRC. "icon" just determines which herb icon to show for that entry. X and Y are self-explanatory. The number on the first line, however, must be unique. If there are multiple entries with the same number, Gatherer will use the first one and delete any entries after it, with the same number. So what I did was I just took that format and copypasted it over and over within Gatherer's data file, and manually edited the X and Y coordinates for each entry:

    Rogue gold farms??

Level a mage or priest, and farm DM:E That's the only way to make good gold while avoiding ganks. Either that or pick up herbalism and farm dreamfoil / silversage / gromsblood. You're a rogue, you shouldn't have problems in 1v1 except against mages and warriors.
  5. So yeah, you want the admins to create an entire new server just because you're too lazy to keep two accounts lol
  6. So, you want the server admins to bend over backwards and make an entire new server, just so you don't have to keep two separate accounts? fucking lol

    Bots in Newbie Areas

    So? That doesn't change anything.

    Bots in Newbie Areas

Where was I "hugging" him? I was next to him the whole time. You can clearly see movements and actions. Even so, you can still see the nameplate. What's the issue?

    Herb Node Map

In my experiences, the herb spawns on Elysium servers are very close, if not exactly the same, as the ones listed on Vanillagaming. For example, Dreamfoil spawns in Azshara, the map on Vanillagaming shows this: I went through and added ALL of those locations, manually, to Gatherer's database. (the lua file in WTF/Account/(account name)/SavedVariables) After going around Azshara a few times...I found these locations to be accurate. I didn't find a single Dreamfoil outside of one of the marked locations. So yeah, if you want Gatherer databases for herbs, just go to http://db.vanillagaming.org/?objects=-3 and mouse over the map notes to get the coords, then copypaste entries within the Gatherer lua file, and enter the coordinates. Takes a while to do, but it gives you an accurate Gatherer database.

WoW Vanilla - Ultimate Alchemy Guide

Especially on Elysium servers, I find that herbs are very, very cheap. Most herbs will be under 1g per stack, until you start getting to 200+ herbalism level. Even then, stuff like Blindweed, Sungrass, etc. will only be 1-2g per stack, if that. The only herbs that are expensive are Dreamfoil, Mountain Silversage, Gromsblood, and Black Lotus. so basically only the max level herbs will be expensive. They're going for 16-18g per stack on Darrowshire, while pretty much every other herb is 2-3g per stack, or less. The super low level herbs, like 1-150 herbalism stuff, only goes for maybe 20-40s per stack. So you could easily get to at least 200 herbalism with only like 5 or 6 gold of herbs.
  11. I find that there's a ton of Bruiseweed around Westfall. Just do circuits around each of the buildings (moonbrook, farm areas, etc) and you'll find a bunch. Bruiseweed usually grows right next to buildings.

    Best realm for newbies

If you've really never played Classic before, I'd suggest the PvE server, so that you don't have to deal with the frustration of being ganked relentlessly.

    Boomkin leveling, feasible?

If you want to do mediocre damage and drink every 2-3 mobs, sure, go right ahead. Feral might be boring, but it is by far the fastest, because it has almost no downtime.

    Bots in Newbie Areas

If you have an nVidia GPU, you can install Shadowplay. Works way better than FRAPS even, and has all sorts of hotkeys for easy recording, and even lets you stream, or upload recordings directly to YouTube. The recording quality is pretty nice, and is only about 1gb per minute at 1080p.

    Farming - Enh or Ele?

Yeah, I don't have any good 1hs, and with how many rogues/warriors are in the raid group, it's highly unlikely that I'll get one any time soon.

    Farming - Enh or Ele?

Mm, tried out Enhancement a bit with what little gear I had + some agi/str gear from the AH, and while it worked well, it was a lot more annoying to play. The "Trickster" satyrs have a melee damage reduction curse, so I had to constantly worry about keeping Grounding Totem down to avoid it. Killing was slower overall, and I still had to drink every 8 or 9 mobs. I think I'll just stick to Ele, when it comes to farming these Satyrs. More gear for it, and much easier playstyle.

How are Enh Shamans for raiding?

Yeah, as Enhancement, you're only going to be there to buff one of the melee groups, and to swing Nightfall for the magic damage debuff. And each raid will really only have one Enh shaman, unless you're in a non-serious raiding guild.

    Bots in Newbie Areas

This "Dotzi" person is STILL botting in Felwood. He's running around the northern Jadefire area, moving in the same path over and over again, targeting dead mobs for a split second then untargeting them, and completely ignoring me even when I emote at him or pull mobs away from him.

    4+ Days.

yeah, because if people aren't logged on at that very instant, that obviously means they perma-quit the server obviously rofl
  20. Yep, tanks are in high demand, especially for 5mans. If you roll a tank, you can get instant full group for pretty much any dungeon.
  21. gotmilk0112

    4+ Days.

yeah, people who have been playing for months are just going to completely drop all of that work and time investment, because of some ddos lol
  22. Private servers cannot get professional ddos protection because they are illegal.

    About Pottu's message

Takk the Leaper is supposed to move way faster than most pets. He does...but on these servers, the move speed increase is not as much as it was on retail.
  24. gotmilk0112

    Best shaman lvling spec?

Well, yeah, seeing as agi/int/str gear is nonexistent at lower levels.

    About Pottu's message

Nope, Snarler does not have his resists. It seems that some pets like Lupos and Takk still retain their special traits, while others don't. The pet that Pottu is talking about is Blind Hunter bat from RFK. At the moment, it is immune to most CC effects, which is a bug.
