Agi gives crit, which is important for Flurry procs. It also gives dodge chance. At level 40, I was rocking 15.5% crit and 13.2% dodge.

Horde ganking Allies on roof of Inn in Redridge=hacking?
gotmilk0112 replied to kingtut's topic in General Discussion & Suggestions
It's not hacking, but it is safespotting, which is against the rules. -
It really doesn't matter. With a regular 1.2 attack speed cat, you will have 100% Frenzy uptime.

Is someone really going to pay for 4 VPNs just to awkwardly multibox their way through an instance? Because even if the IPs were all different, you'd still be restricted to instances, because if you tried to multibox anywhere else, other people would see and report you.

Why would people DDoS a private server?
gotmilk0112 replied to Orangeshit's topic in General Discussion & Suggestions
Some men just want to watch the world burn. Or yeah, other private servers DDoS'ing in hopes of making players leave the server and join theirs. -
It's impossible to multibox without getting banned, unless you multibox inside instances where nobody else can see you. And even then, GMs can still see those 5 characters all connected from the same IP address and go investigate for themselves. Why whine about it? Report the multiboxers with video evidence and move on.

When you're advertising in a city and doing it with random people, yes. IIRC a mod said that doing things like this within your guild/raidgroup or whatever, is perfectly fine. Just, don't sit in a major city and advertise that you're running a casino.

Is it just me, or are the herb spawns really low? I did two circuits around the entire Swamp of Sorrows, and found eight, only eight, Blindweed nodes. I checked /who on both factions, and it was just me and 3 other people in the zone. Never actually saw the other two people, either. Same thing in Azshara, I go around the entire zone (at least, the parts where Dreamfoil actually spawns) and find only 5 or 6 Dreamfoil nodes, with only 6 or 7 other people in the zone. Are the spawn rates bugged or something? It seems like there's barely any herbs.

[Darrowshire] Low herb spawns?
gotmilk0112 replied to gotmilk0112's topic in General Discussion & Suggestions
Yeah, I know that there's only so many herbs in the zone at one time. What I'm saying is, that number seems to be insanely low. When I go around the entire zone, TWICE, and only find 8 herbs, something is horribly wrong. -
[Darrowshire] Low herb spawns?

Why so salty, m8? When I go around the entire zone twice and only find 8 nodes, that seems insanely low. -
great way to start your post That's not "loot rules" then, that's just a bunch of people farming a specific item and then giving it to one person.
-
...No, it was to solve cries of ninja looting. What the fuck D2 were you playing that had "loot rules" ? I played D2 for years, during 2003-2007, and never heard of any loot rules. How do you even do "loot rules" in a game where every item just drops on the ground and is free-for-all? I almost never see reserve runs on Darrowshire.
-
You can't reserve items in pugs anymore, you dingdong. If the group is not a guild group, it forces Personal Loot.

Use the search function. This question literally gets asked like 3 times per week

Anyone know how fast herbs respawn? As I level Herbalism on Darrowshire, I'm finding that if I run the same circuit around a zone twice, the first circuit taking maybe ~12 minutes, the second time there are almost no herbs.

For leveling, yeah, it's pretty nice, but very mana intensive. I found that if I tried to use Stormstrike alongside Flame Shock and Searing Totem, I'd run out of mana pretty quickly. I had to use JUST Stormstrike and nothing else, in order to be mana efficient, and I only had to drink every 10-12 mobs. You can do fine without it, though. Really, the four major damage increases in the Enh tree are Thundering Strikes, Flurry, Elemental Weapons and Weapon Mastery. As long as you've got those, you'll rock some sweet melee damage.

Yeah, I've come across a handful of bots in Westfall. They usually just run around the zone and kill anything in sight. Following them around and /wave'ing and such, no response, they completely ignore me. And if I pull a mob away from them, they just stand there instead of following the mob. I recently ran into a Rogue bot who kept using Gouge on cooldown, it would just run up to a mob, start autoattacking and hit Gouge...and keep autoattacking. It never used Sinister Strike, or Eviscerate, or anything else, it ONLY used Gouge. These idiots need to invest in better botting software.

Been playing since retail TBC, and reserving was a thing back then. Don't like reserving? Make your own group. Simple enough. Nobody is forcing you to join the reserve group. And who the fuck are you to tell people what they should and should not enjoy? You really only see reserves for rare drops like dal'rends or hand of justice. Reserving those makes sense because it's already a really low drop chance; they don't want to roll against 3-5 more people, thus further reducing their chance of getting it.

You can't see timers of buffs on other characters, unless you cast those buffs and you have an addon to track that.

Since I'm a poorfag, I've just been running DM N tribute and getting major mana potions from there. Obviously that's not the best way, but I don't particularly have the gold to be buying them, when they're like 3g each. I'm currently leveling a Hunter as my farming character (since it's impossible to farm on a resto shaman) but I was wondering if it would be best to just farm gold and buy potions from the AH, or farm herbs and craft them, or even just farm 55-60 humanoids?

What happened ? step by step
gotmilk0112 replied to the cat's topic in General Discussion & Suggestions
Hi, Alex. -
...Yes? I've done it a whole lot. It's not hard. I don't run dungeons with my guild. Thanks for assuming, though. :D
-
Literally never, seeing as Thunderclap requires you to be in Battle Stance. But yeah, when you assume that the "average" player is a drooling retard who doesn't know how to play his class, then sure, a hunter pet would be better. But if the tank is even half-competent, no, a pet would not be better. And with an actual tank, you wouldn't have to spam CC on every pull just to tank properly. "wahh I'm being proven wrong so I'm leaving!!!"
-
Highly doubting that melee attacks from a pet would be able to keep 3+ mobs off the healer. Even as BM. Stop spreading misinformation. Hunter pets are not "better than tanks".

Healing aggro is not single target.
