@shaddoe I can assure you this is not an occurring thing and has only been happening recently in the past few days. I'm not sure if its the fluxuation of players, stability of the Elysium server or potential DDOS attacks, but 95% of the time the servers are up and never have such issues.

I feel like Elysium (and maybe Darrowshire/Anathema) should get an automatic restart every 3 hours or every 4 hours, this way the server's don't go down for an extended period of time due to the extensive uptime, plus it will keep the world fresh and running smooth instead of being cluttered / overworked due to being up so long.

My suggestion for a solution : Have the server restart automatically every 3 or 4 hours, therefore these unnecessary down times don't occur due to uptime's being so long.

It's happening to me too, haven't been able to connect for about 20 minutes now.

Have you ever played Shaman? I guess not. A good shaman can 1v3-4. The skill ceiling for Shaman is very high, like I said, easy to learn (Your amateur combo) Hard to master.

Roll a Shaman, easy to learn, incredibly high skill ceiling so you can keep advancing as a player.

I am going to re roll on the pvp server and don't know what class to play, halp? I've been playing wow for a looong time I just don't remember whose good in Vanilla, I know rogues and mages roflstomp people but are there any consistently great classes from vanilla? How well does Shaman perform on Elysium? Are they as strong as they were in real vanilla?

I want to roll either a fire/frost mage for dps and utility like teleports / portals , could be useful for the party I'm with or warlock for the dps / dots opinions? Which is better?

I never got a chance to play a stress test, I am Eastern, -5GMT (Massachusetts) I see people in California saying they get 200orso ping and Aussies reporting 300-400, is the server based in NA or EU? I only ask for making a class decision.

I know blizzard looks down on private shards, or at least used too and you used to run the risk of being banned from retail WoW if you had private servers / clients installed on your PC at the same time as retail. Will I be able to keep my retail WoW installed and play Elysium? I'm hoping so because I'd hate to re-download retail one day, its almost 30gb now.

Hi, I heard about your guys' server yesterday from my mother/father , we've been playing wow since 2004 (my mom has that orc/wolf statue for the 10year anniversary) I remember starting off as a dwarf and then my brother deleting my character (lol) but anyway I can't wait to play Vanilla again with no quest helper, dungeon finder, lv40 mount, etc. my family will be joining me as well as they're sick of the direction WoW is taking the game. The biggest reason my friends / uncles quit was because once the patch hits / xpac comes, all of their work was for not, its pretty disheartening to people who work hard for things just to have them be worthless after the update. Anyway I'm super hyped for this server's launch and already have the client prepped. I got a bunch of friends coming back by hyping this server, can't wait ^^
