Server's 9 days old with 5K queue and they ask for a transfer to a server that is 2 days old with no queue... /facedesk

If I were in charge I'd perma ban any account who's on the server 24/7 - account sharers and AFK cheaters. The people in charge here are amateurs, they don't even restart the server frequently to unload the AFKers, Elysium's been online for 17h+ now. This is really bad. I'm totally turned off right now, can't be bothered with this constant 6 hour queue server filled with cheaters or starting on another one where everyone's already in T2. I'm out. I'll come back if they open a new server fast. Enjoy the -1 to the queue...

Well I can connect to the game again from my normal IP but still not to this site. I changed browser to chrome from firefox, same result. The only way I can access this site is if I use a vpn. Will try the DNS thing.

As of 1 hour ago, I can no longer connect to your website or log into the game. I live in Spain. If I use VPN through the US everything works fine. I've never had this before. When I try to access the website I get an instant message from firefox saying it can't access your site. When I try to log into the game I also get instantly disconnected, like there was no connection at all. Anyone have any idea what's going on?

Earlier today I ate a 10k queue in 5 hours , entered the character creation screen, customized my toon, clicked "CREATE" and BOOM!... disconnected. I quit the client , restarted fast to skip the Q thanks to the grace period but BOOM!...couldn't get passed "AUTHENTICATION". I was so pissed I wanted to come flame the devs on the forums and later uninstall...but couldn't do that either, the forum was too laggy. Yep they should restart more often on overloaded fresh servers to get rid of the AFK cheaters. This Q is going down WAY slower than it was on the Nost servers during the holidays.

The login server was getting DDoSed by the gold sellers who were trying to log in with their bots. But now it seems ok, I just logged in normally and ended up in a 9k queue, woot!

Not true. Yesterday there was a 12k queue on Elysium and at the same time both Nost servers had the usual amount of players, PvE full and PvP on 10k. So according to these number only 2k players (4k max if you count the primetime queue) moved from Nost PvP to Elysium and practically none from Nost PvE. Between the people in game, in the Q and peeps not even able to login I estimate there were around 20K players playing or trying to play on Elysium yesterday. So that's around 15K that didn't come from Nost servers. You're right that the Q will lessen over time but mostly because people will get tired of not being able to play, not because the shiny new effect will wear away They could totally open another server and all 4 would be guaranteed max capacity.

First of all congratulations on the success of the new server, I don't know where all these people came from but from one day to the next you doubled your player base. It seems the login server is being DDoSed however, I haven't been able to login since yesterday. I bet it's the chinese gold sellers that are doing it to give themselves a head start. You might consider temporarily disabling VPNs and blocking chinese IPs to fix that. Also with the queues we have, players are going to start cheating the AFK system to leave their toon on the server 24/7. I suggest you restart the server every 6 hours, that should take care of that. And if these 2 things don't change anything, you might want to temporarily deactivate all accounts that were made in 2017, I bet most new players created their account a few days before the launch. I know none of these measures are at all popular but I suppose doing something radical is better than having your player base type in their password over and over again until they go mad or leave for another game. People who get hacked are gold buyers or account sharers 99% of the time, I have very little sympathy for them.

The lvl 60s that do nothing but gank lowbies do it because they lack the balls and skill to PvP vs equal level opponents. Since they can't beat other lvl 60s, they kill lowbies to get their victory thrills. The troll explanation is nonsense because the gankers never actually see the lowbies get upset. A true troll revels in the anger of his victims but here, cross faction communication is disabled so you can't see your victim express his anger. They say they're trolls because they can't admit to themselves that they are total losers. The truth is these ppl are zero skill frustrates who get kicks out of winning fights they can't lose, like the 5 year old who gets an ego boost from killing ants.

What makes you think downloading a file from a torrent is less safe than downloading a file from a WoW pirate server website? There's nothing inherently unsafe about the torrent tech, it's all about what you download - same as with direct downloads from websites. If you get the torrent link from here then the file you will download is exactly the same as the one you would get from the direct download link, the same file we all have.

I see on the server status page they moved Nost PvP (12k cap) to the left, Nost PvE (6k) in the middle and Elysium to the right. I hope this doesn't mean Elysium will only have a 6k cap. Does anyone know the cap? Has it been revealed?

Of course, this is a private server. Blizzard prosecuting is just one of the many things that could lead to the server shutting down. Progress isn't important, having fun while you're playing is what's important. At least this is the mind frame I advise you to have when playing on private servers, that way if everything goes poof you'll stay with the memory of all the fun you had instead of QQing over everything you've lost.
