Okay it sounds like we solved problem#1 and the mod at least loads now, so that's good. I don't use the mod myself and I am not currently at home so I can't look at it but I would think there is some kind of selection in a menu of the mod somewhere for the minimap button. Sorry I don't know enough right now to be more help. Next time I get a chance to play I will see if I can replicate.

I'm not sure exactly what you expect here. What group, he is solo. If were talking a group: The group is roaming looking for PVP. Other players of the opposite faction are also in the area questing. People tend to chain-pull mobs trying to grind and complete quests. You want them to sit there and wait for you to not be chain pulling? To be full health / mana / rage / energy / whatever with full cool downs up before engaging you? If were talking these clips; are of level 60's he initiates on except 1 rogue that gets ganked. Immediately after he engages a 60 hunter. Who then comes along with a 56 priest in a 2v1. It's not like he sat in redridge the entire time.

I am a little surprised none of these mages even attempts to cast a rank1 frost bolt on you. Good video, I will look forward to the follow ups in the BG patch where you can take on 1vX situations more regularly. I bet you get some great clips.

It's 9 more days to 1.5 "Battlegrounds" patch release on the 10th of February 2018. Level 60's will then have a much better option to farm honor and PVP ranks. Hang tight!

Your old account is likely part of the older Elysium project servers (Elysium, Anathema, Darrowshire) which were merged into a server named Stratholme. The user base of Elysium project and its servers wanted a fresh server with fast progression. A new server named Nighthaven was launched on November 5th, 2017 and does not allow character restores or transfers to this server. The player base overwhelmingly chose the fresh re-roll server and the player base of Straholme dipped to around 300 users at peek times. Because of the low user base the server was unplayable and the server was moved offline in December 2017. With the above said it brings us to today where it would be awesome if you joined all of us on Nighthaven. We have a robust community on this server and a balanced user base between horde and alliance and we peak well over 5,000 players online at peek hours. So create a new account for Nighthaven & re-roll anew with everyone else.

Does it show up on your character selection screen when you click the "Addons" button in the lower left? If so, is "Load out of Date Addons" selected in the upper right corner of the addons menu?

Since nobody else has replied I will take a run at it; Is it possible for you to create another email/game account and give that a shot? Vanilla rogue is satisfying in a mechanical / repetition kind of way. Can't stand warlock until pre-patch affliction, then it was fun for me. I didn't enjoy shadow priest either but never played one past AQ. Can't imagine it changed enough to be "fun".

Have not tried it but this is cool for those that enjoy multiple servers/projects. Appreciate the work you put into it

I think the jump from "180g mount" to "the server is corrupt" is a bit much.

The elysium project only has 1 server online currently called Nighthaven. Nighthaven is a PVP server that does not allow restorations or transfers to it as it is a fresh realm. Your old characters are stored on an offline realm on the elysium project and will be available here for transfer when the Elysium project launches its Burning Crusade server in roughly 1 years time. So if your goal is to restore old characters. you will be unable to do that here on the Elysium project as the player base wanted to start fresh in November 2017. With all of the above said, there was also a split of the elysium project staff and it is possible your characters were copied to the other server project during the split. I don't believe it would be proper to link to another server project here on the elysium forums so you will have to google it for yourself. If you enjoyed playing here in the past please consider re-rolling here. It is a Fresh realm and pre-battlegrounds patch right now (patch comes out in a couple of weeks to add BG's) and guilds are just now putting MC on farm and getting ready for BWL.

This is a bug in the realm select screen. Nighthaven is a fresh server where everyone has started over from level 1. There are no transfers or restored characters on Nighthaven.

The only two things I can think of; 1) the fishing sound is modifying the game files. 2) I am sure steam has some kind of game wrapper for the overlay, this probably functions in some way that messes with the game executable. I would not use either of those things and you should be fine.

From another thread here; The community manager said there were a few issues but it is now fixed.

What turtle said is viable until you get more comfortable AOE grinding. You will learn the patterns on how the mobs path and how to control them and wont need cold snap any more after awhile. On the off chance you do mess up, just blink / run and reset them and try again rather than blowing cooldowns and using it as a crutch. There is more than one way to AoE grind - you have to find what you are comfortable with. To me, the cold snap point is wasted. To others its vital. The spec I posted is where you would be without having to respec for dungeons and raiding later. In any event I hope you have success and are able to meet all of your goals in game!
