Anti-New-Player?

I'd just like to start by saying i appreciate you continuing what died with Nost.
I'd also like to mention that it seems like your server is very anti-new-player. Any characters made after the 6th of november will not be transfered over? Ok, so i just heard about this amazing news that Nost was reopening and now if i level a character before the release (BECAUSE THE GAME PLAY IS FUN) i will be punished for it? 
Please explain how that is even close to ok.

Some people tend to do stupid things as well as smart people tend to be smartasses about it when you basically say "the server will seize to exist soon".

I believe it was done to prevent people from deleting their characters as well as buying out all the goods from ah or sending all the goods to the characters they plan on transfering.

I don't want to do either. I want to start a warlock but be able to have that guy if i get him to say, level 30, by the time the transfer comes up. Why waste my time and why wait another month? You know? It's not like Legion is fun to play lol

Seriously level 30 isn't even that bad. I got 3 geared level 60s and I intend to go fresh. The way I see it, I want this to last as long as possible, that means starting from fresh server is the best way to get the best of everything.

 

I have 677 /days played on a priest on retail (i'm not even gona count up the time on all my alts). I dropped that фекал in a heartbeat when I found Nost months ago and I intend to drop it again.

 

If I can live with that, then you sure as hell can live with leveling up 30 levels on a warlock.

they give us time to make sure we have enough real life consumables for the grind when they start the fresh realm

 

i guess it has to do with the different itemisation of elysium and nost and the database merge (they dont want to transfer toons with items or recipys that dont exixt in nost curent pach)

 

they work on the frozen DB if they let it update they have to start from from the begining again

The reason for the freezing is to make sure that everything stays as close to what you had on Elysium when the nost information is transferred and merged. Basically, its just like the nost DB coming from before the announcement of the shutdown.
