You are retarded if you think you fresh newbies or "future playerbase" as you call it, who just arrived because they heard of how "cool" it would be to play on Nost 2.0 had any say in how things would go. Be grateful that you even have the opportunity of choice to play, not only on a propper vanilla server, but have a choice of 3 different servers to go too. This is how it's going to go. Old PVP server launces. People swarm to Old PVP server and it gets pumped up again with the people who wana play there and those who wana experience it. Then 3-4 weeks later (Which isn't long since the people who actually played on Nost have waited 7 months) Fresh realm opens and it gets filled up aswell. The PVE realm will then open shortly after and the carebears will go there. The Old pvp realm will loose players in time, though I highly suspect this will be a very slow process and the fresh realm will spill over. There will then be cries for "Another fresh realm omg". See this post a few months down the line. Assuming Elysium doesn't shut down because of Blizztards, we will see exactly what I have just said above. That poll is just a very small indicator for the interest that has been flooding this project. It isn't a determining factor going into the release of the realms. "What the players wanted" you mean the new people who weren't even on Nost most likely and have come swarming in because it's cool. No, you new will get the fresh server and it will be overflooded either way because it IS cool to play on Nost. I will be rolling there aswell, but to assume you have a right to step infront of the people who actually form the community that gave Nost the momentum it needed for the fresh server in the first place, is selfish for thinking you fresh get to be prioritied over them. slarkstob 1 Report post Posted November 12, 2016 I am quite optimistic that, if the focus is on the reborn Nost servers then, the fresh servers will benefit hugely from many fixes that may not even yet be required, (eg. A fix on Nost for BWL, when BWL isn't even released on Elysium) making the fresh Elysium server highly polished. I am somewhat concerned about whether support will be available for fresh Elysium if the focus is on reborn Nost (eg. GM support). And still desperately hoping though that Elysium (aka. If you did then an extra 3-4 weeks after a 7 month wait is nothing. The fact that it is releasing later is also not going to make the slightest difference in the overwhelming mass of players that server is going to have. That's just not how you treat your community. I don't mind waiting too much as I was either playing WOD or in my retail version is terrible and I have no interest in playing or supporting it anymore phase when Nost was around, which technically hasn't and probably never will go away. I'm just happy to have the chance to relive vanilla when I was 15 or 16 and have a fresh server start like when vanilla launched. Whether or not I stick with it and have my fond memories relived through the new server I can't say but it should be interesting.
