seriously 0 Report post Posted November 27, 2016 Hello. I wonder how the patches will work on the fresh realm, ofcourse the major patches that was done on Nostalrius will be done the way they were done on the old PvP server, but the small patches/fixes that was done, will they be done in the same timeline on the fresh? Referring for example to the last boss in Dire Maul North which was made a lot of changes to months after release of the instance.
Undertanker 88 Report post Posted November 27, 2016 Bug fixes should be applied to all servers, while content releases will be on a soft timeline.
seriously 0 Report post Posted November 27, 2016 Bug fixes should be applied to all servers, while content releases will be on a soft timeline. Point is that fixing for example the last boss in North is not a bug fix, it is a change that made the boss acting different than it did in vanilla retail just to make it impossible for hunters to solo it
Undertanker 88 Report post Posted November 27, 2016 If the admins see fit to implement certain restrictions like that on one server, expect it to be the same on the others as well.
Banezilla 2 Report post Posted November 27, 2016 They're going to follow the same patch progression as the old Nost server, the timeline might be slightly different. Bug fixes will be applied to all realms, why wouldn't they?
Jakira 22 Report post Posted November 27, 2016 The game mechanics will be as per patch 1.12.1. The various patches focus mostly on items and instances available. Debuff limit will be 8 at start and raised to 16 in the appropriate patch. This means that druids will have Moonkin form and and Shield Slam is useful. Altering the spells, abilities and talents would require custom clients at each patch.
