Undertanker 88 Report post Posted December 2, 2016 If another game as the same issue, then I'd just reinstall your Nvidia card driver.
Legron 4 Report post Posted December 2, 2016 Yes, my fps dropped in Skyrim too, had 160 stable...now its 50-75.... I installed latest Nvidia Driver for my card...still no effect... Interesting thing : while i run TeamSpeak on backgrond, game is running in 250 fps again, once i close TeamSpeak, it returns to 64 fps... Im like searching whole day, alot of threads about 64 fps struck in wow, but there is no FIX...Probably have to reinstall whole system then...
Xyf 1 Report post Posted December 2, 2016 get https://www.techpowerup.com/downloads/SysInfo/GPU-Z/ and check that the GPU is not downclocking for some reason. It might be stuck on a low clock profile.

Undertanker 88 Report post Posted December 2, 2016 I tried this and didn't notice any difference, other than more stuff on the ground. Further drawl distance on multiple things, many other subtle things. Make sure you do the Smoothing part as well. And don't go into your video settings and touch ANY thing after, a lot of the settings will reset to 45'
gotmilk0112 10 Report post Posted December 3, 2016 Eh, maybe I'm expecting too much from it. I still see lots of fog in the distance.

Pretty simple, look at the before and after pictures at the original Nostalrius thread at the "Before and After" section, then decide if it's worth it for you or not. If you don't come to the same result, some of your commands might still be off. If it's not worth your time at least you know there's ways to tweak your config. Config should always be the go-to to adust your gaming experience anyway.

What I mean is that even after running all this stuff, I'm not really noticing any difference, outside of more grass/objects on the ground. Yes, I looked at the screenshots, and didn't really see any fog in the distance, but after running these, the fog is still very visible. https://puu.sh/sD84d/28cd5fba98.jpg
