date of database save (rollback) on Nost realms

Hello everyone,

 

there have been some information that the rollback will be something between 1 hour before the shutdown anncouncement by Nost (6th April) and up to a week before the annoucement.

And there is also a statement by Pottu that it can be up to a whole week (Do not find the link)

 

So I would like to ask if you can tell us the exact date when the database was saved. I got my BRE some days before the annoucement so I do not want to get a heart attack when I am loggin in and do not have it anymore. So this gives some time to mentaly prepare

But anyway I am super grateful for all your work with or without my beloved new tool.

Ya, I can't find the "up to a week" statement either, but I remember reading it.  

 

I guess the deal is, when they have a good snapshot of the server, can't think of any other reason to not be entirely sure how far back the rollback is.  I don't understand how all of this stuff works myself.  Did they automatically generate a snapshot on every dail reset?  or weekly reset?  Or was it something that needed to be manually done at any time?  I have no idea.

 

I would love it to be as close to the announcement as possible too.  Probably everyone does.

The "up to a week" thing is confusion regarding the difference between announcement and closure. The DB is from before the announcement.

So I take the 1 day rollback before shutdown (5th April)  and be happy with it.

I still call its the same day the announcement was made.

 

Just minutes before they announced the shutdown, they've done their weekly PvP maintenance/update.

This should automatically save the whole data.

 

So I doubt its that much of a rollback.

No reason it should roll back before that mornings PvP ranking update and raid reset.
