Ban appeals?

Sometime around March, there were a number of accounts banned erroneously on Nostalrius. My account was one of them, and I submitted an appeal and got my account back. I played until the day the server shut down. 

 

Now, however, in trying to redeem my token, the nostalrius website is again saying that my account was banned. I'm assuming that the ban was not issued AFTER the server went down, and I was playing on the server the day it went dark for good, so I can only imagine this error is coming up because of the aforementioned blanket ban that hit a number of innocent accounts, mine included.

 

I have no idea how to approach this issue. Do I have any chance of retrieving my account? I understand the FAQ says no ban appeals, but this ban was not in effect the day Nostalrius closed, and I have no idea where it came from.

Im going to take a stab at this and say no.... UNLESS

 

You kept all documentation and communication scripts between yourself and Nost...

 

I do hope it gets resolved as I know a few friends who were in that innocent wave too

Dude even has the Nostalrius thread where he got unbanned.  Doesn't look good for you my friend.

I think their point is they can't unban accounts from Nost. Like they literally can't do it. You'd need to finish the appeal on the nost side then transfer the toon over.

We are not reviewing accounts that are banned in the Nostalrius database. If the account is banned there, the characters cannot be transferred and we have no way of changing that.

So is nost still reviewing bans? Hopefully... Got a post up on their forums.

Can confirm he was playing through shutdown.   Note the initial ban was "suspicious activity".   This kid literally ran the moon-cloth market for a solid couple months.   Large gold transactions to his other toons may have re-flagged him at closing.

@Denbts, hit up Nost site and go from there to unflag you.   Ironic how both you and that other guy were un-banned on 4/4/2016 yet both have the same issue.

Hm.  Shutdown was announced on the 6th, your account was unbanned on the 5th.  Ahhhhhhh. you could be rolled back into the ban that was just about to be lifted.  Don't know if that's the deal....and if it is don't know how you fix it.

That would be the most logical fix to me. No response from anyone yet though.
