Question about this Transfer (Curiosity)

Recommended Posts

There is one simple question I have, do Elysium have all the Nost chars already stored in different accounts and this token is just a way to make the association Old Account<->New account?

Basically, chars who will not be claimed, will sleep somewhere inside server's DB till someone claims them?

You don't know that. It could be something like a REST service or some kind RPC, where Elysium downloads each character with the token.

I didn't think about this... but it could be.

It makes no sense for them to have you generate a salted token to then share the technology behind the transfer system... Why should you need to know how they solved it?

I guess he wants to use his tokens later? Makes no sense but who knows.

Seems like a hash of something. I really doubt it is the actual data, hashed. I guess it will be a collection of IDs, maybe, that are used to gather the data from old database and create the entry  to the new one.
