No midnight release

I personally was hoping a midnight (re)release for the nostalrius servers, too bad it's 18:00 GMT+1 again.

What is the reason why it's always that specific time? (even on a Saturday)

Probably because it's a time that EU players would actually play at.

maybe cuz it will be unplayable doesnt matter what time they release.

people know that und so they can celebrate the disconnect lag fest in teamspeak/discord and drink some beer beeing proud of the community overrunning azeroth so hard.

Imagine a midnight release you'd probaply need to stay up all night to restart the server several times etc etc

18:00 GMT +1 seems a fair compromise for NA and EU players to be honest.

I think 12:00 pm GMT+1 would reduce queue times a lot more for all parties, only EU would rush in and once NA awakens, first EUs would logout already.

For the record I am EU (dutch), still don't see why 18:00 is so super EU friendly.

Don't get me wrong I am happy to play tomorrow but I was just wondering why precisely 18:00, since it's a Saturday which means for most of the players they got the day off ( < 18:00 )

That will be Midnight somewhere in the world, if you want a midnight release so badly you can just go to the time zone where it's Midnight...

18:00 GMT + 1 is a midnight release somewhere. 9 AM here on Saturday so pretty much as soon as I wake up.
