Will there be anyway blizz can pinpoint me playing a version of their game not supported by them and them shut down my internet for it? I've seen it happen to people in the past, like playing on the private server Nemesis.

More than likely they caught him downloading torrents. Some ISPs look the other way, some will send you a letter or email, they will shut you "off" until you sign saying you promise to never do it again. Then they turn you back on.

But no, Blizzard has no way of detecting who is playing on a private server. He most likely torrented something that was a "bait torrent" which companies will do from time to time and he got caught that way.

thank you for the response. I'm taking it that Elysium / Nost is completely safe then, correct?

Blizzard doesn't have this power. This is not in their control at all. Your buddy is BS'ing you.

okay, my bad saying it was blizzard. what im getting to is his internet was shut off due to playing on a private server and Jakira explained how that probably happened. so you can continue on something that has already been resolved if you want. all i am asking now is if Elysium is completly safe.
