Different faction for Alts [Gadgetzan Auction House]

Hello everyone,

 

I was wondering if it is possible to purchase your own item on a different character on a different faction in the Gadgetzan Auction House under the same account? Reason why I ask because I want a Horde/Alliance character in the same server but would like to be able to support my alternative characters in different faction.

Yes, you can. But be careful not to undercut your gear, because AH Bot scanners are scanning 24/7 for under prices items.

You have to use another account. I did that once with a friend in Nost when I leveled my second lock as ally. I traded him some things from my horde lock (full shadoweave set etc), we went to Gadgetzan with his horde and my ally. I signaled him with an emote and he listed the items one by one, I bought it at once. But you cannot do it on the same account.

Huh. Did they really fix it so that you can't buy auctions from your own account? IIRC Blizzard did not make that change until sometime in Wrath, or late TBC.
